About Us

Founded in 1990 by Brian Farmer, Farmer Environmental Services, LLC (FES) provides a wide variety of environmental consulting services.  These services include asbestos bulk and air sample inspection and analysis, asbestos project design, asbestos and lead abatement project management, asbestos, lead, and mold building surveys, indoor air quality assessments, and air monitoring.  We also test for industrial contaminants such as arsenic, hexavalent chromium, silica, and mercury.  We have a full service laboratory that can provide analysis for asbestos air and bulk samples in as little as six hours.

FES serves a broad range of clientele, including state and local governments, higher education facilities, commercial/industrial, and school districts. Through knowledgeable and experienced decision-making, FES provides clients with quality service ensuring they remain in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

FES currently employs full-time and highly qualified and experienced professional Environmental Consultants, an Asbestos Abatement Project Designer, and an AutoCAD Designer.

Farmer Environmental Services is an Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) Prequalified consulting firm with over 30 years of CDB project experience. Farmer Environmental Services is registered with SAM for GSA and Federal Government projects.
